The project to establish ASLAN's first office and to lay the foundations for a number of important new initiatives has been titled "Project Pathfinder". Key stages in the progress of Project Pathfinder will be added below as they happen:

» 15-05-04: Location of ASLAN's first office agreed with All Souls Clubhouse, and All Soul's PCC agree to pay annual office rental

» 20-05-04: Project Plan & costings presented to Pathfinder Steering Group and approved

» 08-07-04: Fundraising brochures and ASLAN Website concept presented to Pathfinder Steering Group and approved

» 09-08-04: Meeting held to plan and specify new office

» 19-08-04: ASLAN's new website uploaded to the server and Pathfinder fundraising begins in earnest

» 15-05-05: Building work commences to create the ASLAN office

» 20-09-05: Office completed and fully equipped

» 20-10-05: ASLAN's first ever fundraising dinner held at the Clubhouse to support Project Pathfinder

» 11-02-06: Although Pathfinder still not fully funded, ASLAN leaders take the decision to recruit our first paid worker

» 12-03-06: Recruitment of Project Support Manager commences

» 05-06-06: Claudia Rozsa, ASLAN's first Project Support Manager arrives, and the ASLAN office is now fully operational. Project Pathfinder is complete, but the fundraising effort goes on, since income is still below expenditure.
