WHO WE ARE

QUICK FACTS

ASLAN was started in 1988 by 8 young people from All Souls. Now we are 250 people from all over London.

» c.10,000 people fed & clothed each year on a budget of c.£75,000

» 97% of all funds received are used directly to help homeless people

» 18 teams totalling more than 300 volunteers

» just one paid worker

» we function 52 weeks a year – summer & winter, rain or shine, Christmas, Easter or public holiday

WHAT WE DO

We operate weekly tea runs, social evenings, a mentoring scheme, and staff the Webber Street Centre on Saturdays.

WHAT'S NEW

Site development is continuing. Key development stages are listed below:

• W/c August 16th 2004:
  site first uploaded - all pages apart from one supplementary page in the Contact section and a number of supplementary pages in the Information section are now live

• W/c October 17th 2004:
  Google search engine added; numerous pages updated and amended

• W/c March 14th 2005:
  New links added and general site update

• W/c June 6th 2005:
  Best Practice Guides, ASLAN News Winter 2004, and various other resources added to site

• W/c June 26th 2006:
  Added new presentations to site and updated all information
